Canadian athlete takes home gold on a SAIT-made sled

Skeleton athlete Dave Greszczyszyn received his third national title on a SAIT-made sled at this year’s Canadian Skeleton Championships, held March 23 at the Whistler Sliding Centre.

Brian Dorn, journeyman welder for SAIT’s Applied Research and Innovation Services (ARIS) department, designed and fabricated Greszczyszyn’s sled with the ARIS team.

“ARIS continues to support our national teams whenever possible,” said Dorn, “whether it’s volunteering our time or fixing sled issues that may arise.”
